When sending or delivering flowers to Resin8 By Lou, the client accepts full responsibility for the flowers during transit.
Resin8 By Lou is not responsible for:
The final appearance of the preserved piece depends heavily on the condition of the flowers when received.
Once flowers arrive, they will be treated with dignity, care, and respect throughout the preservation process.
Flowers from funerals or those kept for several days before delivery may arrive wilted, bruised, mouldy, browned, or structurally weak. These conditions significantly affect preservation results. Resin8 By Lou cannot guarantee the appearance or survival of aged or compromised flowers, and pieces cannot be refunded or remade due to the natural deterioration of older blooms.
If flowers arrive with mould, dampness, or early fungal growth, Resin8 By Lou will attempt to save as much as possible, but mould removal is not always successful. Flowers with mould may continue to deteriorate even after drying. Resin8ByLou is not responsible for any loss of flowers due to mould, moisture, or decay.
Some flowers naturally shed petals, darken, or fragment during drying. This is a normal part of the preservation process. Resin8ByLou will always use the most intact, beautiful elements possible, but cannot prevent natural breakage.
Flowers are organic and naturally change during drying and preservation. Variations are normal and expected.
These may include:
These characteristics are not faults and are not grounds for refunds or remakes. Each memorial piece is entirely unique.
Resin is hand‑poured, and small imperfections such as microbubbles, micro‑dust, or surface texture are normal and unavoidable in handmade work. These are not considered faults or grounds for refunds.
Flowers that have been artificially coloured or treated (such as those placed in dyed water, spray‑painted, or chemically coated) may behave unpredictably during the drying and preservation process. These treatments can cause:
Significant colour changes once dried — flowers dyed through water absorption often dry to a completely different shade than when fresh
Colour bleeding or running inside the resin, particularly with spray‑painted or airbrushed flowers.
Staining of surrounding flowers or areas within the piece While every precaution is taken including sealing spray‑painted flowers prior to preservation — these outcomes cannot be fully prevented or controlled.
By choosing to include artificially coloured or treated flowers in your piece, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Resin8 By Lou cannot be held responsible for any colour changes, bleeding, or altered appearance, and these outcomes will not be grounds for a refund or remake.
All resin naturally changes tone over time. While high‑quality, UV‑resistant resin is used, slight yellowing may occur in future years. This is a natural property of resin and not considered a defect.
All resin naturally ages and may develop a slight warm tone over time. To protect your piece, it must not be kept in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Resin8ByLou cannot be held responsible for damage or discolouration caused by sunlight or improper storage after collection.
Once your piece has been collected or delivered, you are responsible for its storage and care. Any yellowing, fading, heat damage, warping, or colour changes caused by sunlight exposure are not classed as faults and are not eligible for refund or remake.
