I’m incredibly proud to share that Resin8 by Lou has been shortlisted as a Finalist in two categories at The UK Small Business Awards 2026, representing Essex.
This recognition means more than words can express. Resin8 began in the hardest chapter of my life — built from grief, love, and the determination to create something meaningful from loss. What started at my kitchen table has grown into a business that now holds people’s most precious memories with care, dignity, and heart.
To be recognised on a national level for that work is something I never imagined. Whether I win or not, becoming a finalist is already a milestone I’ll carry with pride.
Preserving What Matters Most
Our Story
Resin8 by Lou began after I lost my mum to a short battle with lung cancer. During her funeral, I was faced with the reality that her funeral flowers were the last bunch of flowers I would ever give her, and I wasn’t ready to let them go.
I needed to hold onto them, to feel closer to her.
Through the heartache and pain i managed to figure it all out. That piece brought comfort in a way I hadn’t expected, and it made me realise how important it is to be able to preserve moments that mean everything.
Resin8 by Lou was created so others know they have that option too.
A way to hold onto love and memory, made with care and understanding.
